Barnet Symphony Orchestra is a very friendly amateur orchestra based in North London. We give musicians the opportunity to play and perform the classical repertoire in a friendly and sociable ensemble. Whilst achieving a high standard of musicianship, we firmly believe that playing music should be fun. We perform three concerts a year, usually December, March and July and always welcome new players from North London and beyond. There are no formal auditions so if you're interested in playing then get in touch and come along and see what we're like.

We have a professional conductor and leader for all our rehearsals. They both have very distinguished playing backgrounds and this, combined with their willingness to pass on their expertise, enhances our playing.
